Privacy Policy

CapyFocus does not require an account and does not use advertising identifiers or cross-app tracking. Anonymous analytics and crash diagnostics can be disabled at any time inside the app.

Doonutsaur Games LLC ("we," "us," or "our") operates the CapyFocus mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use our App.

1. Information We Collect

We do not require you to create an account or sign in. We do not ask for your name, email address, contacts, precise location, or advertising identifier.

Anonymous Analytics. If "Share Anonymous Analytics & Diagnostics" is enabled, the App uses Google Firebase Analytics to collect an anonymous app-instance identifier, product interactions such as button taps and feature opens, engagement duration, completed focus-session totals, app and device information, coarse geographic information, and purchase metadata such as product identifiers, transaction identifiers, and purchase status. This information helps us understand feature usage and improve the App. We do not set a Firebase user ID.

Crash Diagnostics. If that setting is enabled, Firebase Crashlytics may collect crash reports, stack traces, app and operating-system versions, device model, and other diagnostic information needed to identify and fix reliability problems. We do not set a Crashlytics user ID.

Advertising and Tracking. The App does not use IDFA, request App Tracking Transparency permission, show third-party advertising, personalize ads, or track you across apps or websites owned by other companies. Firebase data is used only for first-party product analytics and App functionality.

Local Storage & iCloud Sync. App settings, session history, focus statistics, and game progress (including your carrot balance) are stored locally on your device. To preserve your progress across reinstalls and devices, certain data (carrot balance and focus statistics) is also synced to your personal iCloud Key-Value Store using Apple's NSUbiquitousKeyValueStore framework. This data is stored in your own iCloud account and is not accessible to us.

Subscription Information. If you purchase CapyFocus Premium, payment is processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive or store your payment card information, Apple Account credentials, or billing address. We receive StoreKit transaction and entitlement information needed to deliver Premium and, when anonymous telemetry is enabled, record limited purchase metadata for product analysis.

2. How We Use Information

We use local and iCloud data to provide focus sessions, statistics, reminders, game progress, purchases, and settings. We use anonymous Firebase data to measure feature usage, engagement, purchase flows, and App reliability. We do not sell or rent personal data, use telemetry for advertising, or share it with data brokers.

3. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us.

4. Third-Party Services

Apple's App Store and StoreKit are used for purchase processing and subscription management. Apple also provides iCloud storage used by the App. Apple's privacy practices are governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.

Google Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics process anonymous analytics and diagnostic data when telemetry is enabled. Google's Firebase privacy and security information is available at Firebase Privacy and Security.

5. Data Retention

Local data is retained until you clear it in the App or delete the App. iCloud-synced data is controlled through your iCloud account. Firebase data is retained according to our Firebase project settings and applicable operational or legal requirements. Disabling telemetry prevents future collection, resets the local Firebase Analytics identity and analytics-only focus counter, and deletes unsent crash reports. It does not retroactively delete information already uploaded, including aggregated reporting data.

6. Your Choices

Subscription. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your iPhone's App Store subscription settings (Settings > [Your Name] > Subscriptions).

Analytics & Diagnostics. You can disable or re-enable anonymous Firebase collection at any time in Settings using "Share Anonymous Analytics & Diagnostics." The App remains usable when telemetry is disabled.

7. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information associated with the App. No storage or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, the "Last updated" date at the top of this policy will be revised. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
